Nick Trigili: 2012 North Americans, Supers, 5th

Nick Trigili: 2012 NPC USA, Super Heavy, 2nd

After finishing second at the 2012 USA, and then 5th at the 2012 North Americans, Trigili seemed certain to get his pro card in 2013 but had to pull out of the 2013 NPC Nationals at the last minute. He is again looking like a pro card winner in 2014!

Kevin Jordan: 2 Weeks Out!

Now that Trigili is out, does Kevin have the supers in the bag? This is what Trigili wrote on Instagram:

"I just want to sincerely thank all my sponsors and friends and family for there support for my 2013 Nationals prep. Due to a personal situation , I will not be competing this year. This is seriously heartbreaking for me to type , and post on social media but I am the bigger person deep down and this is an issue i will overcome. 2014 is a new year , with a fresh start. I wish each and every competitor at Nationals to fight to the end like I did , and I wish my friend competing there to bring it home ! Thanks for taking the time out and reading this post. Till next time."

Day 20: Nick Trigili

I've featured Trigili on the blog a fair number of times this year. The young super-heavy was runner up at the USA (to ) at the end of July, but fell to fifth at the North Americans not much more than a month later. The guy still certainly remains one to watch, with a pro card not far off me thinks!
