After a recent post on young Matt received so much positive feedback I thought it appropriate to add him to this year's lineup (plus I've always been a fan).
After a promising runner-up placing at the 2005 Teen Nationals (as a heavyweight), Matt floundered a bit in the open class - not placing at all in the 2008 North Americans or 2009 Nationals, 15th at the 2010 USA, and 7th (as a super) at the 2011 Jr. Nationals. At the 2012 Jr. Nationals he again finished as runner-up in his class at 218lbs!
