Hide had been slowly loosing ground against the really big guys in the open (2012 Olympia - 15th; 2012 Arnold Classic Europe - 12th; 2013 Arnold Classic - 5th; 2013 Arnold Classic Brasil - 8th), so dropping down to the 212 class seemed the way to go. In Columbus back in March he was 4th at the inaugural 212 Arnold and now the runner up at the Chicago Pro Show.
